Pascal is too slow in benchmarks 😏and sadly it does not overclocks as well as Maxwell architecture , compared to current Real World Record on Maxwell 4-way SLI 980Ti Klngpln Edition graphics card running at 2006/2103Mhz at 24,208 points on 3DMark Firestrike Ultra this MSI score at 19,821 points it's peanuts and Not a world record ...

Don't think you can compare LN2 cooled 980ti's with those 1080s.Just wait till Kingpin gets his hands on those 1080s and applies proper cooling on them 🙂 plus drivers will evolve as well..too soon to compare mate

It's 4-Way SLI. The HB SLI connector takes up 2 slots. They can't use it.

Pascal needs a better bios so it can hit 2.8ghz. Pascal has so many limiters on the stock bios.

Pascal is, from what I've seen, **** for extreme oc. It's already been under LN2 and done near nothing. TIN v Modded one and didn't get much out of it

Well, yeah, presumably because of BIOS limitations. Once people figure out how to mod the BIOS and unlock the full potential of those cards, it should be very interesting to see what we can do with them.

Nvidia is really only supporting 2-way SLI as it is. SO these drivers for 3-way and 4-way more than likely will not be proper results even if LN2 were used.
They simply are not optimized.
There is nothing wrong with the GTX 1070 and 1080 OCing'.
2.1 Ghz is more than enough on just air alone.

but I did see romans vid 480 overclocking not only that, I have seen 1450 on dice....that seem just cooling no more then stock voltage

Vince + TiN tried very hard on GTX 1080 x4 sli at 2800Mhz+ on LN2 with heavily modded ( Volt-Mods + E-Powered + E-Vbot + Special bios ) eVGA classified graphics cards to bypass his own best scores ( World Records ) on 980Tis klngpln edition x4 and he could not do it 😏, we talked about this subject a while ago on klngpln forum chatbox where i am a moderator and a Team PURE member , Vince said this GTX 1080 cards are no fun to overclock and that was the end of it , no need for more proof.
