My question is whether it will be able to handle H265 content and up to which resolutions?

Did you solve your doubt? I have the same question!

the processor is a 2.5GHz dual core and supports the SSE4.1 and 4.2 instruction sets. You should be able to watch H.265 HD at 60fps more or less comfortably depending on the compression settings and your background activity. That's if you are using the OpenHEVC decoder (it's part of ffmpeg). Source : I optimized that decoder using assembly and we had comfortable 1080p@60 on a single thread on 2.5Ghz processors. The idea was : 1 thread = 1080p60, 4 threads = 4KUHD@60, and we achieved it ! it has been a couple of months now, so I guess the decoder is even faster now. 🙂 (there were still critical optimizations that were not merged in ffmpeg when I left)

Athlon 5350 is faster, no?
