Rtx2060/1660ti/vega56 killer. With further tweak it's near vega64/1080/2060S!

I feel like they should've seperated the two by simply called one 5600 and 5600xt for the one with faster clocks. Its confusing and performance gap is not that small. Is it really faster than vega64? Wow.

Still nothing can beat the price perf. ratio of a mere 220€ 1660 super. It is the top underdog.

That's about the low point for the 1660 super. In stock at evga the cheapest is $219 and most expensive $229, so definitely the best price/performance ratio.

asking a bit more for that card....still fast! Edit: that's Gaming X not Z......Sry.....Grrrrr!......:D
Regardless, X or Z, any 5600xt above $300, potential buyers should just go for a 5700.

lol what? You can find any 1600 series card on newegg right now at MSRP. The $300 2060 is a special promotion by EVGA only, and they sold out instantly.
Nvidia 2060 fe on their site is also price cut.

Undying:

This is a cheapest 1660 super. Nvidia prices are a myth just like non existent 300$ 2060 thats no where to be found. https://cdn1.imggmi.com/uploads/2020/1/22/574ffcc4b68892833a2373f92df2b987-full.png
I didn't look again yet today but they were definitely available yesterday when you posted this in the other thread. Microcenter had them for $300. Newegg had them for $310. https://www.microcenter.com/product/618231/evga-geforce-rtx-2060-ko-overclocked-dual-fan-6gb-gddr6-pcie-30-video-card Checking on amazon I see a bunch for $310-315 - similar to the 5600XT. Although there are a few 5600XT's for under $299: https://www.amazon.com/XFX-Thicc-1620MHz-Graphics-RX-56XT6DFD6/dp/B083FWMZ8Z/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=5600XT&qid=1579699534&sr=8-1 Which seems like a really good deal.

I don't know if it's just my imagination, but to me it looks like all the 5600 XT designs have better cooling solutions than the 5700 XT cards. Yet it's a gimped version of the same chip???

These 5600 xt's are looking good. As I already assumed AMD will charge whatever the market will bare for them. I'm sure as drivers mature they will eek out a couple more FPS.

There are currently 3 1660S at MSRP on newegg available for purchase and one has a $10 MIR which brings it under MSRP.

I'd hope they fix the black screen issue before trying to ring out more performace. But this is TRG we are talking about.

With 20.1.3 things are looking up! Not only did they finally acknowledge the issue but indicate it's fix. So far for me no black screens. For me there were 3 issues when I got my 5700 xt 1. Downclocking in 3d applications 2. Wattman forgetting/lossing it's Manual OC settings 3. Black Screen at desktop. Odd enough the black screen issue for me happened in November/December era. I didn't have the problem prior. But so far they've fixed the downclocking issue in games (it's been fix for sometime now). The wattman issue seems to have been fixed now for the past 2 drivers updates. And with 20.1.3 it appears that the BS issue is finally addressed. To be honest, and in retrospect, these are the 1st set of issues I've had with Radeon drivers in several years when it came to a release of a new video card Uarch. At one time I didn't use MSI A/B. But now A/B works flawlessly again. Not sure what happened driver wise. One thing that seem to help was using A/B's "Erase AutoSave Startup Settings" seem to fix some quirks I was having with wattman. For me, powerlimit slider. Instead of 50% I'm around 10%-20% based on what OC I want to achieve. OC seems to have stabilized and no longer fluctuate wildly, etc. The other side of the coin is I had to reinstall a few games. For example BO4/MW/BF5 were they take in account your video card/preload cache/etc. There is no "reset" to reflect a new card unless you delete certain files. But with all the recent updates a complete re-install of those games really did wonders. So it's a combo of a few different things I did. I can only assume moving forward that 5600 xt owners shouldn't have these teething issues. And can only hope that RTG addressed these issues with those cards. And I can only assume that A/B works with 5600 xt as well.

Oddly enough, I only had the black desktop screen once, this morning as I was going to download the new drivers; the irony 🙂

Regarding power limit / GPU frequency limit, anyone tried MorePowerTool? it support 5500/5600 series already.

Pricing at retailers isn't entirely NVidia's or AMD's doing.... When pricing goes above MSRP, it's the retailers marking them up.

Who in their right mind is going to buy a 5600 XT, after 6 months of Navi black screening? AMD has put me off. I'm going Nvidia after my 5700 XT has reached the end of its use. I'll stick to Ryzen since I have experienced no issues with the CPU. Hey, consumers, do you want black screening in favourite game? Buy an AMD card.

Ah yes supply and demand, true. I say if you are on the fence now. If this becomes a hot item they will market them up.

With drivers updated to 20.1.3 they've finally acknowledge the issue and offered a fix. I haven't had any issues. Question: Did you daisy chain your pcie connectors from one pcie cable to feed power your your RD card?
