I currently have an Acer Z35P, which is a curved 35" 3440x1440 120Hz G-Sync monitor. Loving the curve, I don't think I can go back to a flat monitor like a lot of the 38-43" 4K screens that are coming out, so these 38" 2840x1600 144+Hz screens seem like the logical next step, but I do worry that I'd be underwhelmed with an "upgrade" that has the same pixel density. Maybe I just need to accept that I need to wear my glasses at my PC now if I want to take advantage of moar pixelz.

its absolutly another level 😀 i have 2 LG 38" LCD and it awesome , px density its ok because no need magnifier for reading or zooming IMO 32"/4k is maximum density for normal use, 27/4k is unusable without zoom for me i have Dell 3418DW before

This appears to be a very nice monitor. If the price was less than half of this I would consider it.

Not only the pixel-density, but going from 120Hz to 144Hz is total waste, too. I found the monitor of my dreams, 4K OLED with 210PPI ( almost like Smartphones/extremely clean ) and HDR10 but it's only 22 Inches. If it was 27, now that would be my dream-monitor. Furthermore, it's EIZO which means extremely expensive.

The back case does not seem to have vesa holes , might have an adapter for the stand or something.
