why is the press release talking about a curvature? This isn't curved MSI's own press release doesn't mention curvature either.

this is for console gaming. the pc gamers aren't going to buy a 1080p monitor when they can get fast 1440p without paying more. this is for the "cord-cutters" who game on a console and use streaming services. given that a PS5 (millions sold already) will hit 200fps (if not game limited) for Fortnite or some such, you get an instant bedroom media center with less clutter.

WTF. Consoles do not even support ultrawide. So these monitors are for nothing else than PC. Black bars are disgusting.

Please show me 29'' UW 1440p monitor then.. oh you cant because 1440p UW monitors come at 34'' and that is a deal breaker for people who want compact(ish?) monitors.

29" is the minimum but even then it's too short for me.
