So itis only to show that you have a fat wallet 😛 . If there where golden plated surfaces on the contact points .... It might help thing is gold has high thermal transfer rate way above aluminium and higher than copper .... But the the thermal capacity is way lower .... Gold or gold plated contacts make sense even if the difference is tiny the physics check out . But using gold in such way is pointless other than bling bling. Thermal transfer is bottlenecked by the prior carrier of the heat (aluminium in this case ) and if anything you just loose the thermal capacity for not using aluminium .... That said the amount sacrificed for the bling bling is so small that it would be either miniscule difference or not measurable. :P

We all know that RGB leds increase component performance up to 15%, depending on how glaring and obnoxious the effects are, so I'm sure gold plating does the same, but I have no idea of the exact numbers.

Imagine buying that just to put a full cover waterblock on it for pure degeneracy.
