Xfire for newer AMD cards is bridgeless. The only thing they could do is somehow rig up a fan that blows over the cards.

well I think I know why NVidia will never get rid of sli bridges....they must make a few bucks selling them to EVERY mb manufacturer to include with sli mb's.

I think you have the wrong end of the stick you can run SLI on and AMD based mobo which would require a bridge

So they're alienating the people with 3/4 gpus who have decided to go for an AMD cpu .... can't say I'm expecting that group of people to be very large.

They clearly alienate people with 2-way SLI setups. We need fan! I'm a fan of fans.
