Somebody get the keyboards fixed from Gigabyte, their caps lock seems stuck for a while now 😀.

Absolutely stupid design to have the network card so visible without so much as a plate to cover it.

Omg that MSI gaming gear names...they should really stop doing that crap. What's next, "Holy Sh1t" edition?

Didn't realize itx cases came with glass panels to show off the board.

what make me more dubitative it is the sata on the "wrong" side for ITX... in most build the mobo will be covered by wire... but ok as ITX board in mATX box it will be on the right side 🙂. :3eyes: do you put plate to cover your PCIe board?

It sticks out like a sore thumb.

Some of the most popular ITX cases: BitFenix Prodigy, EVGA Hadron and the Corsair 250D all have windows. Although with the Prodigy, that chip would usually be hidden behind a GPU, I have seen mods with windows on both sides which would make it visible as all three cases have the motherboard in a horizontal orientation.

Not sure what your point is regarding the SATA, they are on the usual side for an ITX board, as in the opposite side to the back plate. So why would wires be crossing the motherboard? I also don't understand about the PCIe. If you mean the GPU that you would install in the PCIe socket then yes, if it was me I would have a back plate on my GPU. A lot of mid range and high end GPUs come with back plates already attached. Have a look at the GPU ranges from MSI for example, who also do a range of additional back plates in a variety of colours.

Overall, to me it just seems that the MSI ITX design team messed up again... Just like they did with the Z97 Gaming AC motherboard and then had to release the V2 (Gaming ACX) with a completely different layout design.

Sata connections...fail wifi module color scheme...fail cool bling network adapter hidden under gpu...fail the whole idea of mini bling mobo which will be hidden next to tv...questionable at least :)

When will someone please release a Micro ATX board with HDMI 2! None of the current Z170 support it yet.

I would like to start seeing WIFI on normal ATX boards. Now it's just the very expensive ATX ones and small ones.
