Not to confuse with HDMI of coursze, proudly expanding the hardware possibilities for all gamers. This time, MSI are honored to introduce their latest non-HMI Gaming Monitor: Optix MEG381CQR Plus.

I too don't get what the "HMI" part should be here.

I guess HMI stands for "How to fool the readers to read the full press release"

I think it's (again!) all about the little lights than shine:
GameSense + Mystic light With Steelseries GameSense, RGB LED will not just be a fancy decoration, it helps your gameplay as well. By synching with your in-game activities, it can display vital details of your game through the LED effects. That way you'll get a full grip on your game and your most important stats in a blink of an eye.
From my understanding in COD for example if someone is shooting at you they blink in a color - maybe you don't see that someone is shooting at you - I consider this a "vital detail"... Ahh, fuggedaboutit! - it's a marketing stunt like philips ambiglow.

It looks like a really good monitor. Seems based on the LG 38" panel. Price is probably around $2000.
