I just adore Gaming laptops from MSI. Some even come with a 3K screen. Add the SS keyboard and quality speakers, it's a gamers dream come true. But they only use a single fan cooling design for both the i7 and the high-end GPU, which limits performance once you hit the thermal threshold (guaranteed to happen with long gaming sessions). Maybe with these new thin series they went with a different cooling design altogether. Any chance for a proper Guru3d review on the GT60/70 monster?

Actually I'm looking at my local retailer's website now and they have it on for $1900 (Mind you, that's in Canadian dollars, so it's a bit less in USD$). Check it out: http://otvtech.com/catalogue?page=shop.browse&category_id=845 Compare that to what you'd pay to build your own custom gaming tower from scratch and you'd be well over that amount, especialy if you start adding in the kind of custom features we gurus like to do... you know: Customized cases, custom liquid cooling, cram as many hard drives and SSDs as the tower can possibly hold, dual video cards, etc. You can easily push the price of a custom tower past the $5000 level. Compare that to a gaming laptop that comes in at under $2000 and it starts to look good, am I right?

I like the idea of Battery Boost. Hard to find a laptop that doesn't die on you, especially for gaming.
