Guarenteed in my opinion, no ways such a huge shipment disappears unnoticed. Back to scalping for them.

... stolen from the MSI factory in China, which hints towards an inside job.
Total price hints 200 cards been taken. Those are not small boxes. If we guess that box is not big one, it will be like 40x12x25 cm. Total size of such stolen palette would be 120x200x100cm. (Basically something with base of 120x100cm and tall 2m.) Not something you can put into personal vehicle.

Hmm, I would like to see a release a Fallout 3 version where bottle caps are replaced with GPUs...

Yes fine, you however don't have to repeat your sentiment in every topic that has MSI listed in it. It's getting old and irritating to read.

But you like Gigabyte's? LMAO... Gigabyte is probably the worst manufacturer I have ever tried myself. Their software/firmware seems to be written by 10 year olds.. I cringe every time I see AORUS branding.

I suspect it wasn't that kind of theft. Perhaps it was a thief impersonating a courier that was supposed to fetch the batch of cards, and an insider arranging things so that nobody suspected the fake courier. Alternatively the thief was driving a truck that was supposed to be retrieving something entirely different from the factory, like stuff for recycling, who knows, but the insider instead filled it with the precious cargo. A more violent option would be an insider merely informing robbers of when a real courier departed the factory with the stuff. By using the information, robbers would have intercepted the courier and disappeared with the goods. The possibilities are endless. However, the police in China have vast powers and are numerous, so I wouldn't bet on the thieves getting away with it forever. The cards might be lost for good, though.

What's really crazy is based on that $300,000+ value, that's only about 250 cards, lol.

I have had 3 Gigabyte products in the last 8 years and all of them died shortly after warranty + their software was garbage

Yep, 3090 is terrible value, worse than 2080 Ti ever was You are essentially paying a ton for VRAM which you wont be using By the time 24GB VRAM is usable, the GPU will be pure trash When 3080 Ti drops in a month or two, 3090 will be a tough sell
data/avatar/default/avatar21.webp
200 cards seems like irrelevant for the numbers this product should have.

250 cards that will not ship with a warranty and quite possibly a tracked serial code.....might take 6 months....might take 24 months but sooner or later someone will get caught trying to rma one of them.

Who buy a 3090 without warranty tho It's going to sell for much lower than MSRP without warranty, thats for sure

In china they dont want to pay 2k € for card so they just take it for free.
