Hilbert, Seeing that the ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER seems to get the same level of performance as this card, does that mean that all the current 4070 Ti Super cards need a BIOS update to squash the performance loss seen with this card? If so, maybe it would be smart to add a note about this to all the current reviews!

Doubtful, yet it is is difficult to judge that baseline as no founder edition card was released, so what is the correct reference performance really? Prior to the NVIDIA announcement on this we had already be been talking with MSI and have shared some results, ours is within an expectancy of 1%, the new BIOS does not add a lot tbh, perhaps shaving away that 1% differential. Personally I find this a little trivial.

"The MSI Ventus 3X graphics card provides a performance level similar to the founder edition, making it a viable choice for users seeking Wide Quad HD performance at a budget-friendly price." what founders edition 😎

lol, all the Asus TUF cards have sold out in most online stores here. The MSI Ventus cards on the other hand have dropped in price to below MSRP, lmao. MSRP in dollars + VAT converted to euro is 915€. But now you can find the Ventus for 900€. On the other hand, the few stores that still have the TUF on stock are charging over 1000€ for it, even though that too is an MSRP model. MSI shooting themselves in the foot. People don't know if the perf issues are actually just a firmware problem, or a hardware one that MSI can only mitigate in firmware but not really fix. And MSI only doing a marketing speech in the BIOS update release notes instead of listing what the problem was didn't help. I wanted to buy this card, but now I'm just afraid to.
