I have a P75 creator currently, the P75 Creator 9SF to be specific.

The new gen 10 laptops look nearly identical with the only major change being that I trade 1 M.2 port for AX wireless. The P75 cannot be upgraded to AX due to a CNVio incompatibility with Intel's AX201 cards. I actually use all 3 M.2 ports so that loss would be annoying.
The AX wireless would be nice but honestly the only place that will likely have it (for now at least) is my house where I'll just toss stuff on a flash drive anyway.
All in all I'm not seeing anything approaching a compelling reason to "...upgrade...".

No one is using these on battery. These are mobile gaming/productivity systems. I don't think I have ever used my P75 on battery.

Rubbish. I have gaming/productivity laptop (i7 8750H, GTX1060, 16GB RAM) and I use it on battery all the time (browsing, youtubing, documents, music, anything that works in lower power state). My laptop runs about 6-8 hours on battery which I think is superb, when most gaming laptops can barely manage 2-3 hours. I think it's absolute nonsense that more powerful laptops by default come with pathetic battery capacities, especially considering they are thicker and bulkier. I had to look a long time until I found a decent laptop with dGPU and larger battery capacity. There is absolutely no reason why all these gaming laptops can't come with 97Wh batteries.
P.S. If you never used a laptop on battery, why do you even have a laptop? Sounds like you wasted a lot of money for inferior computing experience.

Why would you intentionally work on a laptop from home? I buy laptops that are close to a PC as possible but nothing compares to an actual multiple monitor workstation.
