Nice, although it will probably cost much more than the RX 6800 XT with only a little performance boost. Talking of 6800 XT, if everything goes well my MSI RX 6800 XT Gaming Trio will be delivered today !

I wonder if there's any science behind that linked fan blade design. I'm not an aerodynamics engineer, but my gut feeling is telling me that design is a totally useless gimmick. Hopefully it doesn't hurt the performance.

To conclude, the MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio is a great graphics card with an insane amount of performance packed under its hood. It runs cooler than its GeForce counterparts & consumes lower power. The card also manages to beat the GeForce RTX 3090 in select titles

I was just wondering about the fan blade design specifically. To know if they make any difference, you'd need to have the same card with normal fan blades and then those linked blades. Of course those linked blade fans must be designed to be like that, so it might be challenging to arrange a completely straightforward comparison.

The Gaming X Trio range isn't the flagship series, the Suprim X is, hence the former falls below that. To me, it like saying, for example, the PowerColor Red Dragon RX 6900 XT is the flagship card instead of the Red Devil RX 6900 XT. MSI is reserving that flagship 'Suprim X' nomenclature to nVidia only. At least, that's the impression I have after reading TPU review of the Suprim X (in which they state that the Suprim X is positioned above the Gaming X). Maybe I'm just being pedantic...
