The first AIB reviews will go up on Monday. Lots of shipments however are delayed due to a Typhoon in the Taiwan region.

I don't see how those would not solve the noise. They are the same coolers you can find on other cards. Unless they have to spin at 80%+ to cool the 5700 the noise should be fine.

Never noticed before, looking at the Gigabyte card, the middle fan's blades are sloped opposite from the other two fans. It is beneficial for the middle fan to be rotating in an opposite direction from the other two fans? Some kind of dust buildup deterrent? Edit: Went to Gigabyte's site. Supposedly provides smoother air flow. Interesting that it was purposely setup that way.

Lol, I had 2 of those over years. And those were only cards which managed to die on me. If you really want blowers, go for reference. I have strange feeling that in some cases reference will prove to be better than AIB version.

In this part of the world, typhoons are a part of life. We are used to it; most of the time it causes no harm except delays in travel and shipping, sometimes it causes some foods or damage, but we just tend to not keep things on the ground level.

Last HIS card with iceQ cooler i had was ATI X1600 even if i knew nvidia 7600 was a better choise. 🙂
