Looks good but 60hz and 4K is not for me. I really can't justify a new video card right now and the 970 can;t do 4k. So I ... as a buyer will stop at 2560*1440 144hz. But good luck to them and hope for a good QA team

And still I personally believe the magic in the special puddin sauce is still in high refresh rates.... Well to be clear higher than that of sixty hertz.

I recently bought a 32" VA panel from BenQ after a few years of using an IPS. I'm just as happy with the colors, and glad to be rid of the IPS glow.

Yah, pretty much this.
VA/PVA panels are pretty good quality, and can attest to nearly 8 years of using one from BenQ in their professional range years ago. Fully 10-bit and a very 'clean' look to the image quality, and colour. Pastels were particularly rich and 'earthy' tonality, with amazing viewing angles.
I really miss that monitor.

GTX 970 does support 2160p at 60 Hz on both DP and HDMI
I have MSI 970 Gaming 4G and 4K LG 27UD68. Works at 60 Hz on both DP and HDMI. Currently working on HDMI, as DP started glitching on boot sometimes. But that's not 4K related. That seem to be compatibility issue with DP 1.2 monitors which Nvidia tried to fix with BIOS but unsuccessfully. Just had to add 4K60 mode manually in Nvidia control panel. But if your DP works fine 4K60 will works automatically.

I understand what You Say but i need 2560*1440 at 144hz . And as for 4k goes .... I was refering at mentaining playable fps. This îs why I will stop ar 2560 .... + A lot of time will pass untill we have 4k at 144hz and cards to handle them

For games it's much better to have 2160p60 than 1440p144. Not even talking about highly pixelated 1080p.

I do but i like a monitor that is fit for both tasks - gaming and movies. A 144hz monitor can temporarily drop itself down a few gears to 24fps for movies but a 60Hz monitor will never reach 144hz or even 120hz while gaming. It's stuck at 60Hz no matter what. Unless you wanna destroy it with some custom overclock, but even then you'd probably only reach 75hz.

In the end the GPU will be able to do more than 60fps, 4k with slow pixels will look rather bad.

Yes, indeed! Moving from my 2560x1440P to my 32" VA 3840x2160P was night and day--I was surprised at the visible difference. And, yes, 1080P is downright uuuugly...;) Many games easily exceed 60 fps with vsync off--it's rare that I have to switch to Enhanced Sync from Vsync off to alleviate visible tearing--Don't know if it's the monitor or the Adrenalins, or both, but it's nice. Grim Dawn, for instance, flies at 3840x2160--really, really like that game!

@waltc3 ... if you still have the old monitor can you do a side by side comparison !? If it's not to much I am still debating !? Think is ... 4K ... you can barely reach 60 fps in most games . Or can I play at 2560*1440 ?

And importantly, are the viewing angles on "high end" VAs still ass?
