Already post it http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=401215 but great job still.
If you need to install or reinstall Windows 10, you can use the tools on this page to create your own installation media using either a USB flash drive or a DVD. Before you begin •Make sure you have: •An internet connection (internet service provider fees may apply). •Sufficient data storage available on a computer, USB or external drive for the download. •A blank USB or DVD (and DVD burner) with at least 4 GB of space if you want to create media. We recommend using a blank USB or blank DVD, because any content on it will be deleted. •Read the System Requirements. •If you will be installing the operating system for the first time, you will need your Windows product key (xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx). For more information about product keys and when they are required, visit the FAQ page. • For Enterprise editions please visit the Volume Licensing Service Center. Use the media creation tool to download Windows. This tool provides the best download experience for customers running Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. To learn how to use the tool, go to the Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool page. Tool includes: •File formats optimized for download speed. •Built in media creation options for USBs and DVDs. •Optional conversion to ISO file format.

These fingers are not young as it use to be 😀 now, time to download the iso & wait for the R9 Nano to come out so I can fresh install Windows. Also MS did a great job. Intel HD Graphics 4600 run so damn smooth on Windows 10 that i'm shock still, it ran better then Windows 8.1.

I have my laptop updating now. Once i'm able to log in, im switching back to the insider builds. I'm going to do the testing from this and keep my main PC on the regular build.

When will microsoft unlock preload ? I don't feel like downloading it again is right.

There's no need to download it again. It's the same build that got leaked a few days ago.
So i can make a bootable usb and clean install windows 10 with it? And dont have to upgrade?
No. You have to upgrade first.

I may be mistaken, but i believe you have to at least go through the upgrade process once before being able to do a clean install. No idea if i'm correct in saying that or not... but judging by how they word it on their site, it seems that's the case. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-faq?ocid=win10_auxapp_LearnMore_win10faq 6th one from the bottom. "Can I reinstall Windows 10 on my computer after upgrading?" "Yes. Once you’ve upgraded to Windows 10 using the free upgrade offer, you will be able to reinstall, including a clean install, on the same device. You won’t need a product key for re-activations on the same hardware. If you make a meaningful change to your hardware, you may need to contact customer support to help with activation. You’ll also be able to create your own installation media like a USB drive or DVD, and use that to upgrade your device or reinstall after you’ve upgraded."

I really hope it's is only for CPU & MB change because if this is also for GPU change then Microsoft you got a ton of problems coming your way since people upgrade there GPU time to time.

You will need to upgrade only once, after that you can do a clean install. I very highly doubt it will include CPU and GPU change...

How do you check the FULL Windows version string please from the command prompt/Powershell or whatever? Thanks.

Its been awhile since i used my win7 install (dualbooted pc), is there a tool i can download that will allow to not have to install 450mb worth of updates that windows 7 is currently asking me to do? Something similar to the Windows 8.1 Upgrade Assistant. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-nz/windows-8/upgrade-assistant-download-online-faq Thanks.
Do you mean like this? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 *edit* Wrong link. I think I know what you mean, I thought I saw it just a little bit ago..

The only way I know how is through regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion it'll be under BuildLab and the versions should be labeled 10240.th1_st1.150717-1719

Run from CMD:
reg query "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" | findstr BuildLabEx

AIDA64 Extreme v5.3.0 reports my version string as 10.0.10240.16393 (Win 10 RTM) which I understand is NOT the final release as that is apparently 10.0.10240.16405 from what I've read elsewhere. The final update is supposedly 500 MB in size (1 GB uncompressed). In fact, Explorer is already version 10.0.10240.16405 from KB3074681 but the Windows version is taken from the kernel which is still version 10.0.10240.16393 on my system. How do I update to the final build? Just be patient and wait for it via Windows Update? *EDIT* Thanks Extraordinary and PhazeDelta.

Check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion UBR at the bottom shows 16405 You are on the final build, only updates change the build string

Yeah I thought I saw it but now I can't find it, I thought I had bookmarked it but now I don't know.. I had made two bookmarks, one for the iso and one for the upgrade assistant.. or so I thought. I had one link named Windows 10 ISO which has this address http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10iso Then another link named Windows 10 Media Creation Tool which had this address http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 The ISO one now changes to the second link. Strange. It's 6:00PM here in Australia.. still no update.. @PhazeDelta1 Notice the ISO in your link disappears, Microsoft seems to have changed it.
