Good to see M$ adding essential features. Now I want an official application that accurately monitors all my hardware (usage, load, voltage, etc...)

its because its a Power User / Enthusiast / ITPro tool, if you are not savvy enough to use command prompt competently then its best to ask a friend / family member for help.

Still a questionable decision for a file recovery tool. Especially when you can download any number of free file recovery tools that come complete with GUIs. Seems MS has gone out of it's way to make it more complicated than it really has to be.

There's always a M$ is bundling XXX 'illegally'.... The recent nag window for (f me I use it so little I had to look up the name) Microsoft Edge which made you click through a bunch of settings before you could dismiss it.

Perhaps but this comes two weeks after an update that forced me to decline having Edge as my default internet browser so something tells me MS isn't quite that altruistic.
