Not a single airport or aircraft manufacturer from the Nordic countries, not even in the most expensive version. Microsoft must not be intending this game to be played up north.

As mentioned in the news-item, 37,000 airports are available ... so any and all + Nordics are in there. Just not the handcrafted premium detailed experience as the 30 or 40 listed ones.

That's a lot of money but then again it is a lot of game. Will be interesting to know how it does in benchmarking Hilbert, both for cpu and graphics.
I think it pulls a lot of data from the cloud though ( pardon the pun), so for a benchmark would that could cause issues unless it was inbuilt and runs just locally ??????

Gamepass is starting to become very lucrative for me.

I just hope its not like the last flight simulator where you need to spend Thousand dollars for all the add ons just to make it look Decent. If they go in that direction again people can just stay with Dcs world which is much better overall in my opinion. I like flying fighter jets wheres the fun in flying passanger airlines lol?
Add a Concorde make the game with some veraity for faks sake guys, lets just hope the right people are making the game this time around. Peace.

most of the people I know who "uses" not sure you can call that play FS, all are or were irl pilots or have some links with flying (like parachuting etc...) sure there are some who just dream about flying and use FS to acomplish that (it's obviously a very expensive irl hobby especially in european countries) but yeah it's not much fun for most people and that's not the point anyway it's a simulator not a game

I played the FS sims back in the old days (before the steam monstrosity). They are super complicated and it's hard to fly the plane with anything that's not a flight stick and what not. I still love trying to fly as best as I can though.

I've personally never understood the appeal of games like this or transimulator where you pay for a bare bone product (that isn't cheap to start with) and then have to spend hundreds if not thousands of pounds to get stuff. I know you don't need to own everything but I still find it insane.
Why can't they make a game you buy, and boom you own the whole game. Rather than cutting content out or selling plane/train packs for quite insane money. Looking at train sim, it can cost 12 euros for a train. This might be worse than microtransaction. Since the price is anything but micro

Will you do a PC graphics benchmark for the game?

This is going to be amazing, the entire planet to fly around with real time weather and and satellite maps of the earth streamed to your PC, and i can see this streaming map techmology taking off big in sims like train sim and the Euro/American truck sims who no doubt will also jump on this tech at some point.

Will I be able to play MSFS 10 years from now? Will the streaming service/servers still be available? Up to what point will the map data be cached on my hdd before it starts cleaning up? Do I have an option as to how much data can be retained? (the more the merrier). Can I play the game at all if my internet service is disrupted?
