Same speeds, higher durability. I'm in. Let's see how Samsung reacts... and let's see if there's a BX300 that isn't as bad as the BX200 and is at least as good as the BX100.

So wait, is this actually an implementation of 3d Xpoint? They didn't reference this name, or at least, it wasn't mentioned in this post by Hilbert..

750GB for €200 WOW!
I remember buying a 200GB for over €600 a few years ago - getting economical enough to start getting rid of spinning platters for smaller drives now in machine forever (still need the big eco-green ones for large scale storage).

This is not the 3dXPoint memory that you are referencing to. Stackable 3D NAND is not new as Samsung drives already have it but it is being introduced into the Crucial Drives through Micron's development sites. The 3DXPoint is probably about 6-12 months from being fully available as an open market product as a lot of it is still in testing. Be sure that when it comes out though, we will be seeing major improvements in memory storage and DIMM relationships as well as the overall fluidity of our computers ability to read, write and render at the same time!
