i m also curious about the extra 4 lanes for the pci express. This 11th gen should offer 16+4 for gpu + disk, but the 10th gen wasn't.

yes my z490 aorus board has a third nvme slot that manual specifies becomes available with a rocket lake cpu. this is not news to me.

My msi z490 unify also, fully. Not partial like some lower end or almost none like most asus boards.

Oh that is great. So some board is ready and really compatible with all new features. Good to know. I wonder what we need a 500 series chipset then.
