BS. This is completely on the devs totally f**king-up big time. Mafia 3 isn't even being advertised by Nvidia, certainly not a front-page game like GOW4. If anything, this game is developed with AMD console hardware in-mind, so, the abysmal performance is down to optimisations on crappy AMD hardware with those optimisations not translating to PC, not even on AMD cards. This game is the new Quantum Break as far as performance goes with what looks like "drag n drop" porting.

From Hilbert's review: "In all fairness, this is an Nvidia optimized title much like AMD has a lot of AMD optimized ones."

I wish everyone who bought this unfinished game would ask for a refund. Bad console porting like we see here, downgraded graphics in other ports so the console gamers won't feel left out. (Oh Hello Ubisoft) etc etc. If this continues pc gaming will die. No pc gamer should have to put up with this sh*t. Make a statement.

One more game "optimized" by nvidia. It is clear that this is one of the ways they are trying to hurt competition, no SLI no Crossfire, so that only their best GPU can get acceptable frame-rate. You need 1300Euros GPU if you want to play new game with old generation graphics. Almost 2017 and we still have new AAA games on DX11, why? Nvidia knows that they are better at DX11. Consoles are not hurting PC games, nvidia is. So yeah, go ahead and buy their products and their sponsored games.

@ 1080p a 970 scores 32 fps @ 1080p a 980 scores 35 fps That's so bad i could never buy this game while in this condition. That's the difference between a 300 pound gfx card and a 600 pound gfx card. So basically you paid an extra 300 quid for just 3 fps. Laughable, especially when you look at GTA V. I'm sorry but surely a 980 should still be able to get 60 fps in any game @ 1080p. Future optimization hopefully gets it closer to that number but prolly some other better game will of come out by then and i'll pass on this one. I see now why they initially released at a locked 30 fps. Poor show.
