Why not? Seems to me as probably the only protection that keeps pirates away and doesn't affect customers. I believe the SSD "issue" has been debunked already.

Be warned it doesn't come from the same studio as the prequels, though.

Hangar 13 works for 2K and are still getting help as needed from 2K Czech office in Brno.

Well the problem is also that some games are running worse for people who bought it than the un-legit version.

is it just me or did these screenshots look better in our minds before we watched them? the ONLY detail i really think was good was the organic component, esp. the long leaves of the last Screenshot :|

Well, these shots look a heck of a lot better than the old ones. I'm on the fence though.

Not sure I understand. Can you elaborate?

Personally - that doesn't mean much.. I'll still wait for the release. Illusion softworks were perfectionists. The graphics had to be top notch, the atmosphere, the story, the whole package. Looking at these screens (and some previous gameplay videos) makes me doubt H13 can fill the shoes. (Despite releasing under the same publisher) On the other hand - I'd love to be surprised.

He means the warez versions (pirate versions of games) run better than DRM legally bought versions.

Sorry if i wasnt clear enough and exactly, for instance Dragon age inquisition, Batman Arkham knight (which was bad from the start anyway but thats the devs fault) and BF Hardline

Interesting.. It makes sense - I believe it was supposed to run some kind of fake code branches to make it harder to disassemble. This would mean poor performance on CPU heavy games. Might be also interesting to see some comparison between original/hacked version performances.

That's not allowed here. We should leave this part of the discussion at that. If you can afford it, buy the games please and support devs.

That's fair.. I was just curious and this is quite OT.
