Love my old MX mouse, but its definitely not a gaming mouse. Currently using my ever faithful G700, survived drowning in water, and heavy impacts. Long live Logitech.

It's not a gaming mouse.
Well, yeah, but at the same time, G700(s) is a good all-around mouse. While I prefer the shape of Razer Mamba, my brother uses G700 with a lot of success in Diablo 3, BF4, and a lot of CAD and Photoshop work. And I think that unless you're some kind of progamer, being able to use mouse efficiently at work (well, gaming as a pro is some kind of work, so this applies too...) is crucial. Having responsive & precise mouse lets you do graphics-related work significantly faster. It's not 2x speedup, but significant enough to make suboptimal mouse purchase a really silly choice.

I resent a bit its low DPI sensor. OK, yes, it's a productivity mouse, but still 1600 is too low especially if you have a screen with bigger resolution. Nevertheless I'm still thinking into buying one, but I'm afarid of its height since I have G9. Looking at this *LINK DELETED*with the G303 and G602, it's really bulky.

Can someone explain how the accuracy of the sensor (DPI) has been conflated to mean the speed of the cursor? What you are talking about is tracking speed, which is adjustable in every OS I've ever seen.
