So same mouse, an led, bit of paint and job done. Wonder how much the paint and LED will cost.

There has been people buying the original 502 and accidentally getting this one for months. So I'm pretty sure it just replaces the original. Same pricing.

I miss the ergonomic design of the MX518, G5 and G500(s)... I really wonder why they had to ditch that.

I only miss on my G300 the G3 mouse feet... This G300 cant slide nice on mousepad, have to use it on desk, but from little dirtiness it will start to stuck up... Already changed feet, meantime the G3 which was 5year old never had a single problem with sliding on mousepad... Quality dropping logitech...

They didn't fix anything. The mouse has a very bad mouse-wheel-click and they kept it as-is?

Reading reviews of the mouse, this seems to be a preference. There are lots of people that like having it hard to press because you avoid accidental presses when scrolling. I personally don't mind it being hard to press because I rarely use it. I don't accidentally click middle mouse on other mice when scrolling either though. Aside from that issue what else is wrong with the mouse? It's probably the best mouse I've used. And I've used more mice than most as I was going through my CS:GO phase.

This, I don't know what I'll do once my G500s dies. I had the previous models as well, and they are perfect for my hand. I'm so pissed I didn't get 1-2 more G500s'es when I had the chance, but I had no idea they would discontinue the design, especially since they updated it periodically over the years. :bang:

Wait you mean can't get another G500? That is bad news for me I love this mouse and it's shape... I just had another Logitech "close call" when I spilled wine on my beloved G19 on Xmas Eve and well killed it. THANKFULLY a local electronics place had what I thought would be one G19s so I was up at the crack of dawn Monday and had a new G19s before 10am, they had 3. I am VERY tempted to go back and grab another and chuck it in the closet. I am VERY partial to the LCD screen, I started on the OG G15 and just can't live without it anymore. Now I got worry about my Mouse too...

i see/feel nothing wrong with the mouse wheel, in locked mode it should be "clicky" slightly resistant to scrolling up/down, and in free scroll mode it should move just like wheel and turn nice and smooth which it does. My only complaints would be the left/right tilt of the wheel seem a lil lose, which something some G502 do and others dont. and the "sniper button is lil to forward, would of liked the right side of mouse to have lil lip like the left side does, so my pinky had some place to rest like my thumb instead of on my desk/mousepad
