Leary. I have mixed feelings about my recent expensive, wireless, Logitech backlit keyboard. There are not many wireless, backlit keyboards at all, so I bring this up. I bought an MX Keys (and an MX Master 3). Each are $100, "Professional" grade... and they are really nice... but the MX Keys has some little issues that bug me. The biggest one is the volume keys. If pressed just right (too fast, too long) the volume will go to maximum or minimum with the keyboard repeatedly sending that signal until you cycle keyboard power. It's like the key gets stuck even though it physically cannot. The back-lighting doesn't retain setting (1-7) properly in bluetooth mode. Bluetooth mode also renders the keyboard unusable for a few seconds at login, preventing login. I ended up just using the wireless dongle making the bluetooth functionality almost pointless. I'm hoping those issues can be resolved with better software. It's making this otherwise fantastic keyboard difficult to use as my daily driver. I would consider this new G-board but I will wait to see if it has growing pains. I want a good wireless/backlit board. There are only a handful of choices.

$230 and still microUSB. Meanwhile, $50 mechanical keyboards come with USB-C. Good job, Logitech. Also, if the keycaps are anything like the ones on the G915, they will break quite easily.

I bought the G915 around 5 months ago and I have had problems since day one. Now about a month ago it has been OK. Logitech G Hub software is horrible. My primary focus was to get wireless and 2 device connection with same keybaord, so I can quickly switch between my Home PC and work laptop. But what I don't use are the extra G keys on the left and the numpad on the right. The keyboard is HUGE, and would love to get TKL version. So i can easily play competitvely and not hit my keybaord on the right side with my mouse. But the lack of USB type C and the price of 223 for LESS keybaord... no way Logitech! And as far as I know the wired version G815 still has so many problems. Check the internet befoe buying Logitech horrible keyboards! This sould cost max 110 USD if even that!

I'd need the Num Pad (i'm a lefty) i use arrows for movement and the Num Pad for jumping, crouching, interacting, abilities etc. My mouse is on the left. Honestly though, the G915 would have been perfect if Logitech had left out the macro buttons like they did with this new TKL version. Who the hell even uses them?

I dont either. Nobody uses G buttons these days. And to make matters even bigger. The aluminium frame does not end with the rightside or leftside buttons. It reaches 9mm further, so the length of the board is 18mm wider even without the extra row of G buttons. It seems that same "design" is used with G915 TKL also... Normal keybaord with numpad is around 43 cm long. This keybaord is 47.5 cm!
