For a sec I thought "Super UHD" was 8K. What a weird name

Love how they have to think up their cute acronyms for everything. HFR is so much better than a list of refresh rates 🙄.

HFR - will this be true 120hz or interpolation crap?

No HDMI 2.1, no buy. Waiting for 2019 CES.

No TV will have HDMI 2.1 anytime soon as the spec just came out November 2017. Considering HDMI 2.1 will need to have a new IC that supports 48Gbps, since none of the ones in the market have that kind of bandwidth, it will be a while before they complete validation etc.. Not saying you shouldn't wait, just you shouldn't expect it until close to 2019 or early 2019. I'm holding out for HDMI 2.1 for the extra bandwidth and features as well.

I'm just waiting for OLED monitors so I can buy a real HDR high refresh rate experience... Honestly it seems like we've been waiting for OLED to become readily available in products since 2010.

No mention of Freesync?! 🙁 Samsung's 2018 line-up will have VVR and Freesync.
