which are double my price range if not more.. i said at around 300$ Oled is still to expensive special in actual monitor sizes hell compared to tv size 42" and bigger there super expensive. Oled in that size and price range will proably never happen if Monitor manufactures have anything to say about.

45" and no 5k resolution ? I'm running one of their 38" 3840x1600, and even on that I can see the individual screen pixels on a light background. Dots per inch matter !

this is the first curved screen with zero artefacts from backlighting (other than the 32" ROG mini-led) and the first one where you can be reasonably immersed while still being sat at a desk providing a near maximum vertical and horizontal (depending on mounting) field of view. i had bought earlier model curved large screens and had always been disappointed from VA smear or IPS glow but it will be interesting to bench it against the ROG 42" OLED (un curved)

Maybe 15 years from now we will see a normal size for a desk, like 27 Inch 1440p. Certainly not going to wait for that. My EIZO CX240 is going to be upgrade by the CS2731 very soon. It's the only brand in trust in terms of image quality anyways.

It depends on the model. Most high-end ones have 5 years on body and LCD Panel. Warranty and Repair | EIZO (eizoglobal.com)

Ah, so this is the Panel Corsair is using for their bendable ultrawide. Very interested in seeing the prices of both of these since they will be in direct competition.
