I read: 27" FHD + FreeSync... OK AH-IPS + 5ms(GTG)... OK Zero-flicker... OK Blue-Light-Reduction... F* that already, I am afraid of screens removing colors from my world. Then I read: 1x D-Sub, 1x DVI-D and 1x HDMI... Where's Display Port? And who does need D-Sub on Digital Flat Panel in 2016 coming at such price? ASUS has practically same monitor at lower price with addition of DP + MHL and it is available in last 2.5 years (Yes, without Freesync, but does FS guarantee sales at inflated prices?). And ASUS is one of overpriced brands...

Samsung is even funnier with this. Since monday i own freesync screen S24E370D, this display has vga, hdmi and display port ports and cable bundled with this display is... vga! :bang: I had to buy display port cable separately. P.S. Now i'm trying to figure out how to use freesync, it seems to be working only in freesync demo but not in games... Another funny thing: this screen has disabled freesync by default, to enable it you need to go into display menu and enable it. Here is something curious: you can choose between two freesync modes: standard engine and ultimate engine, i have no idea what is difference between them but enabled ultimate engine, just in case.

No instructions manual to clarify the difference between both engines?

Manual stands this:
Off : Disable FreeSync. • Standard Engine: Enable the basic FreeSync functions of the AMD graphics card. • Ultimate Engine: Enable the FreeSync feature with a wider range of screen frame rate. Screen tearing (abnormal sync between the screen and content) is reduced in this mode. Note that screen flickering may occur during game play.
By digging more with google i found info about some LG freesync display with similar options and in its case standard engine is freesync range of 50-60Hz while ultimate engine stands for range 40-60Hz. My display can do up to 75Hz and freesync on it works from 40 up to 75Hz if i am correct. I just figured out how freesync works and i have to say that i was expecting more, effect is not that impressive as i expected but yes, it is noticable, it is nice, it is ok. Overall i'm satisfied with my purchase as this display is really nice. At some departments not as good as my crt but as far as i know this is issue of all lcd/led displays.

Perhaps try reading up about blue light before posting comments like this. The Blue spectrum produced by White LEDs used in the backlight of a modern TFT are harmful to the human eye, cause maccular degeneration its also disrupts sleep patterns. There are a lot of panel makers who are doing their best to improve this by using blue filters, they should be applauded. The ones that ignore this...they should be taken to court for causing an incurable degenerative disease.

All you need is to take mspaint, look at palette and change values on monitor. Basically, you get yellowish tint like when 5800K temperature is used. No magic, no changes in manufacturing process.
