Why tho? Its bad for gaming for majority of ppl due to the huge size. I want 27 inch 1440p OLED display, Im good with 120hz+ (and I dont want 240hz) Can I please get it before I die? 16:10 would be optimal, but we go with console 16:9, I "understand"

Meanwhile I'm rocking my 55" C9 on my desk with 4K120Hz via HDMI 2.1 ;-) 45" is totally fine ! Not everyone is the same, some of us like huge screens for that cinematic experience and having screen from edge to edge of our vision.

At this screen size they could make at least 3840x1600 resolution.

Even that would not be very sharp at this size, the monitor has way to few pixels.. there is no point in a large monitor if you have to be far away from it to not see the pixels. I have a 38'' 3840x1600 and want something with more pixels to make it even sharper without being bigger. Pixel density is more important than just a big size.

Size itself isnt an issue, my 75'' 4k tv is excellent, but seen from far away. But for desk size/distance you need high pixel density. This is medium large with very low density

Size is not a issue if u dont use it at the table u play at, if the depth of the table is not like 1m++ which most of people do not have, this will just fry your eyes and brain.

I just want a normal sized OLED display, what is your issue with that?? I dont want 45 flipping inch beast 50 cm from my face, Im sorry! And I dont want 240hz on OLED. Im good with 120hz, considering OLED has zero response time and incredible motion quality, compared to anything else. Theres nothing crap about that. So leave me be man...

To each his own 🙂 It also depends on what games u play, if its something slower I can imagine it can work. But whats the distance between your eyes and the display? For your 55 inch it must be over 1m or u insane 😀 Tell me, Im curious, honestly.

people have there preferences leave them be I dont want 32" 2 feet in front me let alone 40" even if 3 feet away. All i want is 27" 1440p/4k at 120hz even 60hz Oled would be fine for a monitor that 2 feet or less in front me. the 40~55" or bigger screen are for when I sit on my couch or bed watch some video on pc or playing some game, I can not and will not EVER have 32" let alone 40" or bigger screen on my desk 2~3 feet away from me. my eye will just not like it never mind fact i would be constantly move my head just see everything 144~240hz 1000hz no thanks the ammount money that would need to be spent gpu constantly to even keep that not something I will do. even I had 120hz monitor FPS would still be locked at 60

I really don't understand why at this size, they didn't go with 3840x1600 like what's on the LG Ulragrear 38" screen...

So true. I think this is going to be like my current 34 UW screen, whose stock resolution is too small for such a big screen. The difference is that my screen was 500€ and this one is going to be more than 2.000€! Why are gaming monitors so expensive?

I would like to try it for Sim racing as the curve is higher then the Odyssey G9

Agreed. I have a 34" 3440x1440 monitor which is the same height and density, but wider, than a 27" 2560x1440 panel, and that's as big as you want the pixels. Any larger and it'll be way too obvious in regular use even at a decent distance. Ideally for something with roughly as much surface area as a 21.5:9 (that's the exact ratio) 44.5" panel you'd want it to be 5160x2160, the ultrawide/21.5:9 version of 4K. Though good luck powering such a res without upscaling + frame interpolation.

what is your issue with that??
I feel like you didn't read what you posted. You're complaining this product is coming out, because it's not the product you want, and therefore, to you, should not be coming out. How exactly are people not supposed to have an issue with that? And there are monitors coming out/are out(LG 27GR95QE for example, though it is 240hz, i assume the "don't want 240hz" must be it's not what you are looking for, as i can see no downside with 240hz over 120/144/165hz as even if you don't wan to run it at 240hz, you can run a 240hz monitor at 120hz if you'd like) with your criteria in OLED(except for 16:10, which with the market is understandable, good luck with that), so the question becomes, why can't people, who aren't you, who want this, have this? https://www.displayninja.com/oled-monitor-list/

Not if You half blind, half stupid, as I am 🙂 I have 48'' LG OLED 50cm in front of me, and i don't see any pixels. So, either i'm blind and stupid, or either You all have some problems with reading news article about pixel problems, but You never tried to put 48'' 4K 50cm in front of Your selves 🙂 Don't know.....

Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't say a 55 inch OLED tv be better? You want ultra wide ? Great black bars top and bottom and you get roughly the same resolution and size as this, want to see some series great also let it be full screen! While the tv would be also cheaper, am I getting something wrong here?

:D:p 🙄 Get a HRR (120-144+ Hz) monitor first, use it for a few weeks, then go back to your 60 and let us know how it goes.
