I mean... yeah... they added more E-cores to these processors... Kinda what happens when you tack on more processing threads to anything. It's a good move by Intel. Though I'm not sure just how much of an improvement it should be heralded as, considering E-cores are horrible for gaming.

Gaming wise is not anything you would update too if you look for every single fps you already went to a K model... So I would say updating from an alder for gaming only does make sense, but if you do rendering or compiling ... And in general CPU heavy tasks more little cores are very welcome.
