There are so many other factors and timings etc involved in performance. One thing I like pumping up is the refresh interval (or whatever it's called). This is the interval between refreshes, NOT the refresh period itself. I have mine set to 12000. If you set it too high it becomes unstable of course, but that is 100 percent stable for me. I believe it can actually show in benchmarks. Some people who know of this setting in the advanced timings section of the bios mistakenly think the lower the better. I haven't seen any RAM that hasn't been able to have at least 11500 set. Try it out 🙂
