If they would do it with a gaming mouse, I'd be all in. Same with mechanical keyboards, if that was possible.

My Logitech G500s is... how old... OLD! and it still hasn't gotten any gunk on it. I clean my desk weekly with a wet cloth, as well as my mouse and i NEVER touch my peripherals with unwashed hands. Some people are just filthy as f***.

Newsflash, some people have skin conditions and some just sweat more or have more salt and stuff coming with it, even excessive handwashing won't help. So it does help to have something durable enough to withstand the cleaning. I also wish that the design on mice was more seamless, since every little gab will acts as a skin and dust trap and that they stop using those rubber like surfaces that start to peel within 6-12 months.

Got 2 Logitech mice that can take it, G604 being the best, just wish that the side buttons could be removed and replaced with a blanking. For mechanical keyboards PBT doubleshot keycaps can withstand them chemicals.

How long did you let your stuff dry up before you used it again? A week like in the video above?

LOL I blow the keyboard daily 🙄 to get dry white skin away and now and then I wipe it with a cloth and some strong window cleaner, I rarely need to do that though, even with them caps being white. My old black caps, which where not PBT doubleshot, had their paint peeling off from those rare wipeovers. Used to take all caps once a year and wash them with hot water and soap, but these keycaps sit so tight that I rather just vacuum them more often instead to get the tiny amount of dust and sometimes cat hair away. Avoiding dinners and chocolate at the PC besides constantly washing and sterilizing my hands plays the biggest part of having a clean keyboard and mouse, I do have psoriasis though, hence the dry white skin.

I wipe down my work, office and home KB+M daily with rubbing alcohol and tissue paper. I would reuse the paper multiple times to get good mileage since it won't break from a gentle wipe down. Super clean. Do wear a glove if you have sensitive skin or irritations with rubbing alcohol. A single $ bottles goes a long way ~ 4-6 months depending on how you use it
