As ridiculous as this seems, smell is one of our most emotive senses. A passing waft of a particular smell can instantly bring back long lost memories in a very vivid way. The ability to bring back memories is clearly a licence to print money, not sure if via a tv is the optimal application but it's probably a step closer to what will eventually become a most sought after item.
