€ 3 000 MRSP, € 10 000 in shops ?

I mean... technically they can do it, as the fully unlocked version of the ga102 chip in the nvidia a6000 has 10752 shader cores and 48gb vram... but... unless you need a whoooooole lot of vram, the bump up from 10496 shader cores in the 3090 to the fully unlocked 10752 shader cores wouldn't exactly be a massive improvement.
Then again, they have done this before.

Apart from that MRSP is thin air atm. it is even more interesting to see the increase in MRSP vs performance over the last generations of GPU's, both from Nvidia as AMD, talk about moving the bracket into a bad direction.

And being 5% faster than 3090 with 400w TDP at start? I don't see a point at all. Oh and the price would be interesting.. lol

Nvidia certainly wouldn't replace the 3090 and move the rest of the pricing down. Of course they'd charge more for any 3090ti card, probably around $2000 if I'm being honest. They'd sell out a month before release day to miners as usual.

Just don't waste your money at this point. Miners and scalpers will grab them first regardless.
Wait for the next generation.

Just create a NASA GPU for us to use on gaming for 50000$-150000$ please.
I know nvidia can do it

Personally I'd be careful about hoping miracles from the chiplet design. Right now AMD and Nvidia could be manufacturing thrice as many products and they would still sell all of them, so it doesn't really encourage them to offer more for the same money. It's more reasonable to expect, in the mainstream, if the technology somehow works perfectly, that the performance will grow modestly, while profits grow more. In the CPU market things went as they did with Ryzen because nothing had happened for 10 years. There has been no such stalling in the GPU market, so you can't miraculously make the processors multiple times stronger while also making more profit at the same time.
Anyway, should we really expect, seriously, the next gen before 2023, at most the very end of '22? The current gen has mostly gone into miner hands, so for most gamers they are still brand new products. Both Nvidia and AMD know this.

There is no product placement for a 3090ti in the stack, the 3090 is already totally unlocked.

Honestly once graphics cards hit the 3K mark we cease to be the master race, at that point we become the idiot race.
