Why so much negativity...I don't understand.
Do you want a market dominated by AMD?
Trust me when I say that the color may be different by the methods would be the same - high prices and +++ refreshes because there is no competition. I hope that they bring their s**t together and actually launch something competitive.

well I think most of us are just having fun here, but you are right. Just keep in mind that Intel has Meteor lake coming in 2021 so be at ease 🙂 Duopoly will continue.

A dedicated GPU right when NVIDIA and AMD are gonna be releasing their new stuff would be very big news indeed.

Biggest surprise would be no more scam in graphics driver support.

Something big?
Must be 22 nm?

I guess we'll know in ~ten weeks. Probably Intel wants the announcement to coincide with AMD's Zen 3 announcements... Or, maybe Intel is announcing it is transitioning away from CPUs and into smart Golf Cart production?...;) New motto: "Isabelle Inside!"
fantaskarsef
Probably professional GPU or something along the lines of improvements on the platform.

Please , ler it be tiger lake

I know CPUs are currently more than enough for gaming systems.
A 4700X with a tdp of 65w YES please but surely it's enough for MANY years of gaming, even the 3300X kicks arse in budget systems.

Something big... Sounds like chiller will be included with new CPUs!

Fits the motive.
