Nice. Really looking forward to seeing what they can bring to the table. I've tempered my expectations for there first couple of cards, but competition is great news.

Intel demonstrating raytracing on their imaginary gpus, cant wait.

I'm curious how different Intel's "route tracing" method is from what Nvidia or AMD are doing, because I would think if it's different enough, it wouldn't yield quite the same results.

I've heard that they're using the delay algorithm for their calculations.

Looking very much forward to this. Even if it only provides GPUs in the low-midrange spectrum of where you find your Geforce 16x0s and maybe Radeon 5500s - though aren't they technically above that... it would mean a lot for making 1080p rigs for people on a regular budget again.

Well even if they just get somewhere between 3060ti and 3070 .... They will have a product good enough for 95 % of the market.

Drivers will play the big role here.

If they can put a top-end card in that range and have some others below it, that'd be fine. A 3070 competitor would be too pricey for most people. And as @Undying says, Intel's driver team needs to be on point with "game ready" drivers.
