i alway loved the low power serie, it ethicaly fit me for all the peripherical PC. Sadly not for work right now but maybe one day...

Are these Pentium and i3 the first to have 2C4T? I thought that the previous models didn't have hiper-threading...

Wow, that i3-6100 would be amazing in a Compute Stick.... please, oh please, bring it there. It would be a perfect bedroom PC.

I think Skylake-Y will be better suited for a Compute Stick.

They did. The Surface Pro 3, Intel Core i3-4020Y has HT. Also I don't even think these look that impressive.. The i5 model has essentially the same specs as the Haswell generation U series. And the i3 model got a slight clock bump, but it also comes with a 3.5w higher TDP. I assume the GPU architecture will be slightly better clock for clock, but aside from that it's like a sidegrade in both performance and power usage. Platform power will get a little lower I guess with DDR4.. but I wanted something really nice for the Surface Pro 4. Meh.
