Perhaps they're waiting to confirm the date until they're sure they will have some volume in the retail channel. They're obviously going to sell out on day one no matter what, but it will look much better if they sell out in 15 minutes rather than 60 seconds.

Those numbers are meaningless... 20% IPC and another 20% IPC in 6/7 months ? Intel did nothing in 8 years and know they will almost double the IPC in one year ? Seriously...

Intel doesnt want to talk about rocket lake. Always they talk about alder when they try to talk about rocket. Bet they feel some shame about their cpu line up. A tdp world record cpu. And a 8 big + 8 atom cores cpu.
