New architecture with IPC improvements and still 14nm.
We used to pray for AMD to get strong and bring some competition to the CPU market now we will do the same for Intel.

It's late July right now, I don't need another 40 degrees in my computer room.

6GHz is a new barrier for the Intel. 5GHz is old.

16Nm +,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+,+
I think they should remove + and write 16Nm* or 16'2.
Otherwise they will wear out the + buton on their keyboards soon.

Ghz is all Intel has going for them. That along with better latency gives them a slight advantage in a few cases like games at 1080p. Those few extra FPS are enough to appease Intels fans, regardless of what that means for anything else. If bragging rights is worth the extra cost or power consumption, so be it. Let people buy what they want to.
You can also debate about whether AVX512 is a selling point but it ironically isn't sustainable at such clock speeds, for most users.
