funny no one commenting this ? considering there lots on comment on intel-roadmap
i am expecting intel fanbois (*not provoking flame-post) post some comment in here
like "people saying intel is on panic while still making "okay" reports"
for me the report isnt good, its flat compared to q1 2018
but that also the point to be taken, i mean intel under-pressure atm yet still making 16billion revenue means demands of their product almost remain same to last year
but i am hoping they could releasing more interesting product this year
with all vulnerabilities on their cpus and staying on 14nm while other already moving out
keep stay flat every each year, and all of sudden u will fall
i personally kinda looking forward for their X599 chipset as no new news since late last year
rightnow thinking to build a TR4 system, but if X599 turn to be more spicy, i might change my mind

Comments here get erased if you favor one side. Very disappointed after being a long time fan here. I'm going to another site and won't brag for guru anymore.

10nm failed and 14nm+++++++++ will continue on desktops for at least another two years, and AMD is about to go full super saiyan with Zen2.
Meanwhile ARM improves drastically year over year and it really isn't inconceivable that ARM replaces X86 for general home/office usage. Apple's A12X is getting to near desktop performance levels and Windows 10 for ARM is already out.
If AMD becomes king of (the slowly dying) X86, and Intel's new GPU's do not kick Navi/Turing ass, where does Intel fit in? Oh yeah, illegally obstructing their competition as best as they can, like the last time this happened with Athlon 64 / Prescott, and they already started to like with sham company CTS Labs and the Ryzenfall "vulnerability" hype a while back. This time they don't have another architecture to fall back on, like they did before when they came out with Pentium M(3)-based Conroe after Netburst failed.
That is why their stock dropped almost 10% today.

I have been a reader since 2005-2007ish. My comment was about AMD Lisa Su, and as an idea make posters for their 50th anniversary CPU's and it got deleted. I like AMD yes but I have seen some harsh comment from both AMD and INTEL fanboys. So GURU3d won't let me talk about AMD since " I DON'T LIKE INTEL?"
