I just hope Intel release some competitive products over the next few years. No one is expecting a 4090 beater, but if they could provide some value in the mid range that'd go a long way towards fixing the dumpster fire that is the GPU market.

They don't need to beat 4090, they just need to beat them on price and have stable drivers. User experience is key, and most people will vote with their wallets.

If Intel intends to seriously compete in discrete graphics cards, they will use their usual tricks to win over OEM PC makers. When PC laymen then buy pre-builts, big brands or small, and get used to Intel graphics, it's already a significant step. It could be even easier in the laptop market where there are basically nothing but pre-builts, even if some brands allow you to custom your laptop from a bunch of listed options if you use their own webstore.
