Numbers aren't bad I guess. Still, it depends on time, and if you need a BAR system to even get there.

Good enough starting point.

That is reasonable performance for both the drivers and architecture being un-optimized. I won't be getting it though, simply because the next generation is bound to be significantly better. Intel has a tendency to prematurely abandon fresh products, especially for Windows. Next gen should be a bit more trustworthy.

Have they used bench with raytracing options enabled?

At 225W my generation old 2080super would destroy this numbers. That is not so great. Driver issues?

Undying:

There is supposed to be at least 1 more card above this one, an A770....but this isn't really a bad start for a company that hasn't produced a real GPU in over 20 years.....

Not bad for their 1st gpu . I suppose with more mature drivers it will gain a bit more performance.

2080 super had a 250 watt, and peaked at..270-280 if i remember correctly? Not saying your overall sentiment isn't correct, it does seem like high wattage for the outcome, especially since the RTX 3060 which it states it beats but only just, does it around 180 watts or so, and the 3060 ti is less then 210 watts still, both on an older less efficient node. Guess we'll have to see how the A750 will do in power consumption benchmarks

those numbers are same as 2070 super or better, whose tdp was 215w it's all a matter of price. 2070S below 300usd would sell really well.

Not bad. It's performance puts it in between the 3060 and the 3060ti. The A770 should therefore be around the 3070.

and those really aren't some C-grade games either, cp2077 with +15% over 3060

A770 was supposed to be 3060ti/6700xt competitior. Its not that bad i guess but we should not expect intel competing in the high end.

2080Super is a 250w tdp but it is hovering around 230-240w on average and it peaks at 250w not more than that. A750 is supposed to be 225w tdp so they are close.

I think the key is to keep the pricing less than the counterparts from AMD/nvidia. Trying to ask the same money for equal performance with zero track record would likely be a mistake.

Now price it at 250$. I might buy one then

Considering 3060 is above msrp even if intel price a750 299$ it would look like a good deal.

this is far better than i expected. now we can have a handle on the oem systems that will have these and Intel has the sales channels to completely avoid logistical issues and the marketing to make them immediately competitive. far more people (not necessarily gamers) know Intel than either AMD or Nvidia and the limited SKU's will help with that (simplicity...good/better/best). if Sears Roebuck was still around this would be ideal for their brick & mortar. New Egg will do in a pinch.

Not bad, like others have already said. Now Intel just needs to price the card correctly and launch it before the new gens of Nvidia and AMD.
