Um, what ? (edit : makes me think of GeForce GTX 260/275-448bit)
Edit2 : Understood finally, 448 Threads (56threads x 8 sockets).
On another note, this is Intel's reply to AMD's Opteron Zen Chip.
If AMD can get 32 cores and 64 threads, HBM + quad/octo channel memory, Intel has to reply.
HBM as a Last Level Cache would be seriously fast and wide.
From what I read in the slides (and understood), the chipset can offload encryption/Decryption, and would also be available as an add-in card...
Wonder what clockspeeds will be with so many cores...?
