Possibly worse. It might happen that they end up in OEM machines exclusively.

I'm only surprised they didn't call it the "Vaporware Scavenger Hunt"...;) Seems like everyone, and I mean everyone, is deeply involved in imaginary GPU production & sales atm!...;)

That would be saddest launch ever. Why would they try to involve community through viral things like "scavenger hunt" if they planned only OEM release? It is possible, but it would be pretty bad launch. And I think not even intel's marketing people are that stupid. It literally takes one question: "How will people react to this?" And that's like one question marketing has to ask every single time they are doing something.
