Graphic part were the weak part of previous "skull" NUC... With a Vega it might be the ultimate small machine (sadly at a po***graphic price... as previous "Skull" NUC 🙂 )

Very impressive indeed.

For the price, I don't think it's worth getting. Remember, you have to provide your own RAM, storage, and OS. If I want the CPU performance, I'd rather just get one of the previous gen NUCs. If I want the GPU performance, I'd rather get an Nvidia Jetson board (albeit, Jetsons would be limited in what games I could play).

I'd say the heatsink/fan was the weak part of the old ones. The graphics weren't amazing, but we knew it was just the Intel IGP, so it lived up to realistic expectations. Unlike the other NUCs, they were unstable and hot. Under load, or even idle, they were unstable. They were so hot they even melted their the lid with the cool skull on it. Too bad they didn't use a taller enclosure, made of aluminum, like the other NUCs. It seems they stayed with the low profile design, so I'd avoid these, based on the fact that the last "skull NUCs" were terrible.
