This version is compatible with intel hd graphics 4600? My doubt is because in the previous version, the 3412, said it was compatible with both celeron, pentium, hd graphics and iris pro, but that only claims to be compatible with celeron and pentium. I have the 4770k, should I continue using the 3412?

Yeah, I'm confused too... I'm kinda new to Intel's drivers, and installed the one posted a few weeks ago. I have a i5 3337u mobile processor with an integrated 4000 GPU. Why do I want to install these drivers???

Intel really hates HD3000 in K-series high end CPUs.

Not that it hates it, its just not powerful enough. Even 4600 is so so, 5200pro is much better 2x 4600 by compute units (40 in total).

Is this driver or the control software in any way different then what is already on Intel website? I ask because I'm having an issue with my Intel I5 with the 4600 Graphics and Live channels using Windows Media center aka 29/59 frame rate. Many threads suggest turning off adaptive contrast, which the new Intel HD control software does not have anymore. It has a contrast control but it seems to have no impact on my issue, and no noticeable effect when switched on or off. I am hoping to find control software that will allow me to play with more functions until I can zero in on the problem.

Question: I have a Dell Inspiron 17R 5720 3rd Gen Core i7 with Intel HD 4000, can i use this driver with no issues on my laptop regardless of not having the Iris technology? Since Dell has an old driver listed on their website as the latest (9.17.10.2867, A04, 2/8/2013) so i just want to know for sure if i can successfuly upgrade with this one with no issues. Thanks in advance! 😀

Hmm well it said that the drivers were not for my computer 😏Could not install them...

Did you try uninstalling the old ones, then a driver cleaner and then installing the new ones? Make a backup of the old drivers first just in case.

I had multiple games crashing consistently caused by this, the exes would fail to launch, so keep that in mind when you upgrade.
