Kind of an odd story. "Intel China President and CEO Wang Rui..." who is responsible for Intels business in China must be facing an uphill battle. She is "announcing" advanced chip technologies that may be restricted by US chip exports to China.

Incredible catch up news from Intel. Did they specify anywhere where those manufacturing nodes are going to be deployed?

According to her LinkedIn profile she's located in New York. Not sure why they chose her to announce this news. Maybe they wanted to give her more exposure?

I`ll believe it when i see it. Intel has been promising a lot and delivering very little regarding their manufacturing nodes...

Given intel's track record as of late, not exactly meaningful, 10nm "shipped" in 2018 with a token cannonlake mobile chip. but wasn't usable for pretty much anything until late 2019, and wasn't suitable for desktop or server until 2021

It's Intel's most efficient chip in a long time. Tiger lake was/is amazing, it was just held back by gear 2 by default and a max of 3600ish in gear 1 so it looked as fast as comet lake in benchmarks.
