Backstabak:

Xe...that's a pronoun that SJWs made up, that is suppose to be gender neutral. I guess it's very progressive of Intel, not to put pressure on their new "child" and let Xe decide what Xe wants to be.
Hope they will change it. Naming, sure, shouldn't be politically engaged.

Well, I wouldn't mind some CPU/GPU trans-fluidity. 😛

🙄 Folks, I strongly believe the Xe name is for a server/workstation GPU, consumer products will have some other branding. The non-gendered pronoun stuff is some next level nonsense. Look at the names: CPU: Xeon GPU: Xe Xe as in Xenon

Will this mean more hassle or longer time time testing INTEL GPU's from Game Developers? Will INTEL bribe them or will they try to hinder performance from Nvidia & AMD with some sort of HAIRWORKS? Would it be called NOSTRILWORKS? Slogan, " slow performance with no visual enhancement." ;-)

I don’t see them being competitive at all against AMD or Nvidia... Even if some of the people moved from AMD to Intel... That’s just my 2 cents
Well, first Intel has to actually produce a GPU.... The last time Intel started talking about producing a graphics card, it was named Larrabee and was ultimately released as an "accelerator card"....
Arbie:

"indicates the GPU to be a 10m fabrication" Intel has been kicking out 10nm fabrications for years now, and everyone's bought them. Why go backwards? Plus they'd have to completely rebuild Fab 42. Looks like more AMD fanboy BS.
Looks like a simple typo to me.... Not everyone has bought Intel products on 10nm, as only a few Cannon Lake processors have been produced on 10nm. The vast majority of Intel's product portfolio is on 14nm or 22nm.

I get it now! It's an abbreviation of eXpEnsive. Also it reminds me of Xe Services, which is a bad thing.

Is Xe said like sexy without the s?
