Lets face it power consumption sucks for arc gpus even on load. Can you imagine cards are pulling double than amd 6600xt, thats crazy.

We need the figures in watts. In Europe every watt counts right now.

What's the difference between Moderate and Maximum power savings?
for PCIE Link?, just the length of the delay before the link goes into low power when load reduces.

Thats not a surprise because Raja Koduri is behind both cards LMFAO...remember how hot and underperforming the late ATi/early AMD cards were...all Koduri

Oh yea I remember. I ended up getting a 8800GTS 640 because the HD 2900xt was so late to the party, used as much power as the 8800gtx, and was only as fast as the gts 640. Power consumption on Fury X didnt bother me because it wasnt late, and was on par, or even beat GTX 980ti in some games. And was better at higher resolution and I was using triple ultrawides at the time. I didnt find the R9 290x to be too hot of a card, or issue with power consumption but the referance cooler sucked big time. So doing crossfire would have been a tragedy as I though due to the noise and heat from those crappy coolers vs going GTX 970 SLI like I did. And got burned by nvidia with that. Their triple monitor software was GARBAGE!!!, 3.5gb vram issue, which was really exacerbated by my triple ultrawides. Personally, I was happy Raja left, and the same trend continues now at Intel for their gpus. I seen so many over the years say nothing but bad things about him, and it panned out with the Vega gpus, while they were really good for what they were, they didnt even get to the 1080ti in performance for a long time.

Hopefully Intel has learned a lot form this mess. They should just move ahead with next Generation.
